Johannesburg August 29, 2012 - McCann and Scangroup Limited
today announced that the two agencies are terminating their business
relationship in order to pursue different business priorities in the market.
McCann Worldgroup Africa executive
chairman, Fraser Lamb, says, “After close to ten years of being in partnership
with Scangroup in Kenya, together we decided to amicably follow separate ways.
We would like to acknowledge and thank both management and staff for the journey
to date. McCann has renewed its interest in the Kenyan market and the Continent
as a whole and will initiate business going forward.”
“It has been a long and
fruitful journey, and I would like to thank McCann for a great partnership that
has lasted for a decade,” said Mr Bharat Thakrar, chief executive office,
Scangroup.
