Infinix Launches New Note 3 Device Delivering a Better Experience


Nairobi, Wednesday 18th  August 2016 – Leading Smartphone and Tablet manufacturer Infinix Mobility has today launched a new device with improved performace, to further enrich the customers’ experience.
The new device, Infinix Note3 (X601) comes with a 4.5 A duo charge engine  that allows for fast-charge capability -  5 min charge 200 min talk. The device is also equipped with Aerospace Cooling Technology (ACT), a standard kit for fast charge devices, while optimizing the phone performance. These new features are as a result of the feedback received from users across the company’s key markets including Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria among others.
Speaking during the launch, Infinix Mobility’s Co-Founder and Managing Director Mr. Benjamin Jiang said the Note3 device is testament to the company’s resilience in pursuing innovation in mobility, adding that it is a result of a convergence of needs and ideas.

 “Note3 is a unique device that seeks to change the way we experience mobile technology. We have modeled the device along a certain needs pattern, common and unique to our customers, with the view of adapting technology to their lifestyles,” said Mr. Jiang.

He added: “The evolution of mobile technology is stongly anchored in the adaptability to the changing needs of consumers of that technology.”
Infinix Note 3 (X601) is a state-of-the-art device that comes with a 6.0” display with Full High Definition (FHD) capability, combining  high range colour and contrast to give users a clear and colourful display.  The device is built with a customized XOS operating system (Android 6), which escalates user experience with Infinix smart device, while manages power consumption to give users a longer time to use their devices.


With this feature, one can easily achieve standby times of up to two-and-a-half days during average use; setting a new benchmark in the industry. But perhaps the most exciting feature for most Kenyan consumers is the fast-charge technology, which allows up to 200 minutes of talk time with just 5 minutes of charge.
Mr. Jiang noted that Infinix Mobility remains focused on the African market with considerable emphasis on Kenya as the market provides a dynamic market for technology.
 “We still continue to utilise our factory-to-consumer model to ease the cost of acquision for our customers. Our deisre is to have every Kenyan gain a chance to explore mobile technology thorugh our devices.” explained Mr. Jiang.
The X601 has added the sophisticated fingerprint technology on top of other key features, which allows users to access their phones with safe and secure high-level encryption, protecting sensitive data.
What’s more, the X601 has a 2 GB RAM and is 3G-enabled.  Its Pro version version (Note3 Pro is 4G-enabled and has 3GB RAM, delivering an even higher performance.  The two devices have a 13MP back camera supported by a 5 megapixel front camera, which are fitted the Phase-Detection-Autofocus (PDAF), that accelerates image detection and focusing. 

The Note3 device has been launched in partnership with online shopping site Jumia, and will be available at 14,499Kshs  on http://infinix.Jumia.co.ke.
